Installing linux driver for RTL8191SE in Fedora 14

Hai friends,

Today i installed Fedora 14 on my office laptop.

But its unable to connect wireless, Because of Driver Missing fault.I searched in google and got the idea.

First we must download the linux driver for RTL8191SE.

You can Download the wireless driver for Realtek RTL8191SE here or here.

After downloading open your terminal and login as super user.

Now, follow the following commands.

yum install kernel-devel kernel-headers patch make

Then, unpack the downloaded file using,

tar xvzf rtl819***.tar.gz

cd <while the files were unpacked>

make install

Now, We have to restart the network manager,

service NetworkManager restart

That’s all !!!
